Connecting Telegram
Link your BusyBots account to Telegram to chat with BusyBot from anywhere.
Link your BusyBots account to Telegram to reach BusyBot from your phone — ask questions, look up contacts, or get proactive updates without opening the dashboard.
Prerequisites
- A BusyBots account with an active organization
- The Telegram app installed
Steps
1. Open the linking dialog
In the dashboard, go to Settings → Organization → Integrations and select Link Telegram.
2. Scan or click through
You'll see a QR code, a numeric linking code, and a deep link to the BusyBots Telegram bot. Either:
- Scan the QR code with your phone's camera, or
- Click Open in Telegram to launch the bot directly
3. Confirm in Telegram
The deep link opens a chat with the BusyBots bot and automatically sends your linking code. Telegram exchanges the code to link your account — no need to type anything manually.
4. Wait for confirmation
The dashboard dialog polls automatically and closes with a success message as soon as the link completes — usually within a few seconds.
Verification
Send BusyBot a message on Telegram, such as "What's my organization's contact count?" You should get a reply referencing your actual CRM data.
You can also send a voice note — BusyBot transcribes it automatically and responds in kind.
Link expiry
Linking codes are valid for 12 hours. If your code expires before you complete the flow, reopen the dialog and select Regenerate Code.
Troubleshooting
QR code doesn't scan. Use the Open in Telegram link instead — it works identically on desktop and mobile.
Dialog doesn't detect the link. Confirm you completed the flow inside Telegram (the bot should have replied with a linking-success message). If it's been more than 12 hours, regenerate the code and try again.
Wrong organization linked. Each linking code is scoped to the organization you were viewing when you generated it. Unlink and repeat the flow from the correct organization if needed.
